Bio/Notes: Kristopher  Noel a.k.a. Anonymous was born November 11, 1985 in Fort Worth, Texas. Raised in a Christian house hold, he developed a deep reverence for Christ in his early childhood. At the age of seven, he began to take piano lessons from his grandmother, Ereta Hamiliton, who is the music director at the Historic Greater Saint James Baptist church in Fort Worth, Texas. She noted his musical talent and taught him to read music. The piano would open up the door to other instruments such as the drums, his voice, and the guitar.
The hip hop culture played a major role in Kristopher’s development as a musician. He was intrigued by the idea of constructing his own musical compositions and began to make hip hop beats in his early teens. As he honed his beat making skills, he also became fascinated with the lyrical content of east coast hip hop. It was not until high school that Kristopher began throwing bars together and flowing over his own beats. He drew inspiration from secular rappers such as Mos Def, Talib Kwali, and Common.
After high school, Kristopher became heavily involved in secular hip hop. Although he started building up recognition and fame amongst his peers, he could not shake the fact that the life he lead was opposite to that of his upbringing. He started to become someone he no longer recognized. Kristopher could no longer ignore that the road he walked continually lead him further and further away from Christ and his family. Sick of his situation and living in sin, he sought Christ for counseling. It was decided that he put away his music and focus on the savior to get back to where he needed to be. After some time, Kristopher would go on to join the military where he would meet his wife, Jennifer. A strong woman of the faith, she exposed him to Christian rap to let him know that there was an alternative to listening to worldly hip hop. As he listened to groups such as the 116 Clique and Cross Movement, he drew an enormous amount of inspiration from people such as Trip Lee, Da T.R.U.T.H, Flame, and LeCrae. He enjoyed listening to those Christian artists but could never see himself as a Christian rapper. He received many signs from God assuring him of his purpose of life. For some time, Kristopher struggled when every other sermon was about using your gifts to glorify Christ. He wrestled with God for a whole year before giving into HIS will. As soon as his peers noticed that Kristopher’s new lyrics started to glorify Christ, he began receiving persecution and criticism. Realizing that Christ received the same treatment, Kristopher continued to elevate the Savior’s name through music. At the end of his first three year tour at Eielson Air Force Base, he met Brother Darryl Ramey aka Namliss who also happened to be a Christian lyricist. Kristopher admired Brother Ramey’s emotion filled and genuine style of rhyme that he used to glorify God. Not long after meeting, they formed the group known as “THE UNKOWN”. The group name, “THE UNKNOWN” was created to ensure that all glory is presented to Christ Jesus, making sure no emphasis was being placed on the two individuals for self exhortation. Having two fresh, unique, and lyrical styles of flow, the two bring a breath of fresh air to the music game. Kristopher’s main goal in life is use his music is to enhance the Kingdom and elevate the name of Christ Jesus.
