“To be unashamed has taken on so many layers, I guess it’s to be in a spiritual sense unashamed of my own brokenness and my own need for God.”

Andy Mineo says that he is unashamed to say that he is needy, weak, and broken and without God is helpless. He says that his need for a savior is “considered weak and shameful for most people. We’re supposed to carry ourselves as strong and righteous and pure. I guess I’m unashamed to say I’m weak and broken and needy.” He wants to be bold about who he is without being obnoxious.

“I’m unashamed to be what God created me to be, but I also think that its very important to side note that being bold about who you are and what you believe doesn’t equal obnoxious and it definitely doesn’t mean being a coward which is the opposite direction.”
