ndy Mineo describes himself as an artist who “raps about what he’s passionate about.”

“I guess I like sharing my perspective through hip-hop, my perspective on a lot of things, life, love, faith, politics, joy happiness, you get to hear a lot of my humor in my music, really just honestly being me.”

With his new album Uncomfortable, he says that he invites people to embrace discomfort for the sake of it producing something good. He was inspired by the quote “Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable,” saying

“that word uncomfortable just kind of summarized where I was in my life. I was getting married, growing as an artist and a musician, stretching and changing in so many different ways.”

He thinks that the theme of being uncomfortable is displayed from his songwriting and breaking format in his music by making unique, unexpected songs.
