“My daughter has got a lot of features on this album,”

said CL. “We were in Korea on tour back in May and we were just in the car and I hear Sam in the back telling my daughter Ruby ‘say this. Say that’ and she’s just playing along and he actually recorded it in his phone.” The voice of three-year-old Ruby is used as samples on some of the songs on FUTUREGEN.

If you follow AMP and their members on social media, you will know that they spent much of 2016 in South Korea. The parents of each of AMP’s members were raised in South Korea, and they all speak Korean. J. Han said,

“When we’re in Korea, Sam has a lot of solo shows… His music is really starting to take off in Korea, it’s really starting to bloom. We also do church shows for AMP. There’s a lot of churches we’ve connected with over the years who really believe in what AMP is doing.”

They also get to know musicians during their time in South Korea. “We run into a lot of younger believers who really want to glorify the Lord with the gifts [that] He has given to them, and have really unique opportunities to speak truth and develop friendships while we’re in Korea.” He is happily surprised because he hadn’t expected such opportunities to occur there.
