Bio/Notes: …For the first half of his teenage years Minister G formerly known as GunDei gangbanged on the streets of Miami, chasing paper and cheap thrills. Influenced and motivated by the music that permeated hip-hop in the early 90s Minister G and a group of neighbourhood friends committed home invasions and terrorized rivals.
In his mid twenties Minister G newly relocated to Montreal, Canada responded positively to God s call of salvation and he gradually began to realize that he’s been deceived into trusting the values of a culture deep rooted in crime, sexism and nihilism.
“When 2 live crew said shake what ya mama gave ya the young girls did that, NWA said I’mma be a zaggin 4 life I believed that and explicitly manifested that attitude and did nothing constructive with my life for years…” said Minister G.
Today the regenerated young rapper through his music is set to undo the damage done by those before him, stifling a generation that s now almost lost.
Lies my homies told me, his first single deals with the hypocrisy and downright falsehood sponsored through rap music today, Minister G exposes these lies and testifies that he only survived because God’s grace came into his life.
