Expanding Global Ministry Reach of Christian Music a Corporate Goal
(Nashville, Tennessee) — June 5, 2012 –Former airline pilot, Mike Foster, is trading his wings for beans as he opens FosterHobbs Coffee Roasters. This leap of faith into the gourmet coffee market is no impulsive move, but comes after years of pursuing the finest coffees of the world and garnering this knowledge to produce the perfect cup. Combining this, his love and appreciation of coffee culture and his philanthropic spirit, the notion of FosterHobbs Coffee was conceived.
FosterHobbs is out of the gate running, wasting no time to build initiatives for aiding farmers and communities from the different coffee growing regions of the world and supporting the movement of Christian artists and music into new venues.
Aptly named, ENJOY COFFEE. FILL THE GAP, this multipurpose endeavor challenges the world to answer what ‘fill the gap’ means to them. To FosterHobbs, ‘fill the gap’ is interacting with coffee farmers to provide a sustainable solution and incentivize environmentally friendly, superior coffee results. To FosterHobbs, ‘fill the gap’ also means imparting a sense of integrity and complementing your world to make it a better place.
The UK holds a special place in the heart of the Fosters and they have chosen here to begin their quest for amplifying the Christian music movement. “The UK already has some of the best Christian contemporary/modern worship music on the planet,” stated Foster. “My hope is that together, the UK and America can take this type of music to an even higher level, in both countries.” With ambitions of providing a positive influence in the lives of teens and young adults through music, FosterHobbs looks to expand opportunities for diversity in artists and events and create a swelling of interest in this genre of music.
Organizations, such as Home Tour, A 21 Campaign, and Living Water International, have garnered the attention of FosterHobbs Coffee. Foster has cited his endorsement for these non-profits and plans to support anti-human trafficking campaigns and water well drilling ministries throughout the globe as a part of GAP projects.
Foster goes on to discuss his role in the communities of coffee farmers, “I decided to take an out-of-the-box approach to work on both [coffee and sustainable agriculture], by making the effort to buy the best coffee beans at a fair price from those that need help the most.” Driven by his desire to “give back”, Foster is developing relationships with farmers who produce these high quality, gourmet beans to assist in the livelihood of their farms and offer encouragement to invest in rebuilding their communities and family operations.
“Aside from my long-term GAP objectives, FosterHobbs Coffee Roasters is still about providing premium specialty roasted gourmet coffee to the consumer,” stated Foster.
“People are looking for the best coffee beans available and you can’t get that at the everyday grocery store. That said, we provide beans that have been grown at just the right elevation and with the perfect soil for a quality you can’t find just anywhere.”
FosterHobbs Coffee Roasters ships immediately after roasting for the freshest product and offers unique, hard-to-find flavored coffees in addition to the roasted beans. Trading wings for beans may be the best move yet for Mike Foster, as well as the coffee connoisseurs of the world.
