New York, NY (June 20, 2011)—Xist Music announced today that pre-orders for “Stop the Funeral,” the highly anticipated 4th solo project from The Ambassador, are now available through their website at www.xistmusic.com. Tremendous buzz is already building for the first two singles on the project that were released for airplay in early June—bass-built track “A-M” and the head-bopping hit song “Up Down” featuring the popular Australian singer Charmaine”—and the excitement continues to grow as the July 12, 2011 official release date nears.

Featuring 14 new tracks, the recording was produced by The Ambassador’s label mate, multi-talented vocalist and super-producer, Sean Simmonds. Leading artists from the urban Christian and the contemporary Christian community are featured on the recording including Canton Jones, Mali Music, Ryan Stevenson, KJ52 and Michelle Bonilla.

“Stop the Funeral” will be on sale for $9.99 and can be purchased through Amazon as well as on the Xist Music site, www.xistmusic.com. A limited number of Christian hip-hop websites are offering special promotional items for pre-orders of “Stop the Funeral.”  Randomly selected winners will receive valuable items including an iPad 2, an autographed copy of “Stop the Funeral,” tickets and backstage passes to the upcoming MISFIT Tour 2011, which The Ambassador will co-headline and Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.

“Stop the Funeral” marks the first CD release under the new joint venture between Xist Music and 220 Entertainment. For more information on The Ambassador, visit www.theambassadoronline.com orwww.xistmusic.com.
