Recently K-Drama revealed that he is no longer on the Cross Movement records roster. His forthcoming album Winds & .Waves will not release under the CMR imprint but rather Drama is going independent.
K-Drama informed Chris Chicago on his Jam The Hype show that he had a conversation with John Wells about leaving the label.
“We both came to an agreement that in this day and age, it’s very beneficial for artists to release music independently,” said Drama on Jam The Hype. “We both made the decision that I would release music from here on out independently.”
Winds & .Waves was supposed to come out on CMR but, according to K-Drama, they are focused on other things. Could they be focusing on the new artist they are going to unveil in the near future? KD says that Cross Movement is in a position to do some exciting things and they want to see him succeed.
