Former 1st & 15th Entertainment (Lupe Fiasco’s record label) artist Gemstones is working on an album titled Blind Elephant. Stones also revealed that he is crafting his next mixtape. His upcoming project will serve as the follow-up to his tape Elephant In The Room, a collection of tracks that were well-received in the Christian Hip Hop community and outside of it.

Gemstones (f/k/a Gemini) recently took the stage at Legacy Conference in Chicago, Illinois. The inspirational emcee was building with various artists who have a desire to push the Gospel. His stellar performance of “Dying Breed” gripped the hearts of many in attendance. According to social media, Gemstones is interested in collaborating with fellow believers Lecrae and Thi’sl.  Maybe we will see him work with them on future tracks.

Gemstones is a believer in Christ who is using his platform to lead his listeners to God. He has appeared on major networks like MTV, released hit songs, toured the world and collaborated with some of the top tier rappers in the industry like Drake, Lupe Fiasco and Jay-Z. The Chicago-based lyricist is using his music to make a difference. Gemstones released a project titled Road To Glory in 2010. A release date for Blind Elephant has not dropped yet, but when it does we will let you know.

“God Is My Rock” came out in June.
