IAMYG founder Rey King recently announced that his forthcoming project TLHD is dropping on August 21. The Young God and Black Friday crafter has revealed three possible covers for his upcoming collection of records. It seems like all of them could be official (Promo?) but Rey hasn’t said whether or not they are. All of them might serve as an official cover for TLHD, maybe he is giving fans multiple options to choose from.
We do have some concrete facts. Martymar of Social Club designed the last two covers unveiled on social media. Rey King was the man behind the first one.
The South Florida-based emcees have collaborated on several music-related projects. Rey King was on Social Club’s (F.E.R.N. and Martymar) Misfits and Martymar’s Please Don’t Make Me Look Bad, among others. Marty creating the latest cover art is another example of the two putting in work together.
Social Club is releasing Summer of George on August 25. Rey King also announced that a second installment to his Black Friday mixtape series is in the works. Follow Social Club and Rey King on twitter for more information: @IAMREYKING & @Socialxclub.
