Gifted da Flamethrowa continues to demonstrate his consistent work ethic with consistent releases of new music.
Gifted, whose previous work includes three retail albums (And So it Begins, Street Symphony, and Bulldoze City), is now offering what will be the final release in his series of mixtapes featuring different DJs. Monsters Do Exist volume 11 features DJ Wade-O and provides listeners with more of the Houston-by-way-of-New-Orleans street sensibility the he has become known for.
The artist notes that although he originally planned the MDE series to have a dozen volumes, after the tragic death of friend and collegue DJ Primo who was to be featured on volume 12, he decided to cut it short.
Still, there’s plenty of music left for you to enjoy – an all for free.
“When I got serious about God in ’99 my goal with music was to create an alternative to the negative message that has inundated hip hop. I am a servant, not a celebrity,” Gifted said.
