Nerva releases “Mind, Body, Soul” as the latest single from his forthcoming album Restore. On the song available October 20, Nerva chronicles his struggle to make the right choices.
He raps, “Every single day I’m battling this sinful nature, but through the day I put my trust and hope in my creator.” Produced by the artist, the track’s humming and ringing synthesizers give the song an upbeat, vibrant pace that is complimented by the Nerva’s calming, yet piercing delivery.
With songs like “Mind, Body, Soul” and preceding releases “Broken Wings” and “Focus,” Nerva is establishing himself as a motivational MC. “The song is about how God first loved us and reminds us to place God first in everything – resources, passions, hungers, perceptions, thoughts, speech, actions, talents, and reactions to challenges,” he explains.
As an artist in the spotlight, Nerva feels even more pressure to have an authentic, unwavering commitment to his faith. “What good is it to be one person on social media and someone totally different behind the scenes?” he says.
