“Everyday is like a new scene to a movie. That’s my inspiration for music; its me being frustrated or being in a situation. Life is my inspiration.”

Los Angeles, California artist HOPP’s faith and family are very important parts of his life, and along with the other aspects of his life, he reflects upon how well he lived each day.

Now & Then Vol. 1 is his new mixtape which released June 11th. Though much of his past music has been free, he hasn’t released free music in a while and wanted to give out an entire project to the fans.

One reason HOPP is excited about his new music is

“God has opened up doors for me to work with really big names in the industry in regards to writers and producers. It’s opening up a new avenue and platform.”

He says that working with these writers, one of which is LaShaun Daniels, who has written for stars like Michael Jackson and Beyoncé, is making him a better artist. “Its cool and I’m excited about it.”
