“I wanted to motivate, encourage, and inspire the kid with a dream; never take no for an answer.”
Kaleb Mitchell was raised in church, and as a young child had many questions about God. His parents would take him to the leaders of the church to have discussions about who God is and what is His relationship with humans.
“By the time I was six I was baptized and it became real for me at that young age.”
When he was five years old, Kaleb began to play piano. One time he listened to a Kirk Franklin song in a car, and within an hour of getting home, he was able to play the song by memory on his children’s keyboard. Over the next few years, he progressed as a pianist, but decided that he wanted to rap at age nine.
