On October 27, 2014, Trip Lee released his billboard-charting album titled ‘Rise,’ which was produced by Gawvi, who recently signed to Reach Records as an artist. ‘Rise’ landed at number 2 Billboard Rap Albums, number 2 Billboard Christian Albums, number 2 Billboard Independent Albums, number 4 Billboard Digital Albums, and number 16 Billboard 200. Trip Lee and Gawvi have become one of Christian hip-hop’s best artist/producer duos. ‘Rise’ helped their case.
Should Gawvi and Trip Lee follow-up the project with a part two? Gawvi recently sent out a tweet that leads some to believe that ‘Rise 2’ is a possibility.
.@TripLee should we just drop Rise 2 right now out of no where?

Trip Lee thinks ‘R2’ is a “great idea.”

Trip and Gawvi were joking about these tweets being on “websites.” Well, here they are. They were right! Christian hip-hop fans across the world can’t see ‘Rise 2’ and not get excited about it.
@GAWVI let's stop before some websites write some articles. "Gawvi and Trip set to drop Rise 2!"

Volume 1 featured Lecrae, Andy Mineo, and Natalie Lauren, among others.
Do you think ‘Rise 2’ should happen?
