Scribe talks about “Deeper Water”: “The song was a remake of a song done a year ago on my album that, at the time didn’t seem to have the depth in the subject matter I was looking for. Sonically it didn’t exactly bring out the emotions I was looking for. Now a year later, the song itself has ministered to me in so many ways. Recognizing that, God has called me out to the deeper waters of faith, brought me beyond the comfort of the shallows and to a place of hopeless abandonment essentially. Which, is why the song is titled “Deeper Water”.”
