Lyriq Nawqiy, Phil House & Radical team up to drop the new single “Temptation”

The bible says that we are never faced with anything that we are not able to withstand and resist. We are to clothe ourselves with the armor of God to protect our weak flesh. Jesus was and is the only one who is without sin. He has fought and resisted every kind of temptation. Yes, even the kind we struggle with today. However, we are given a way out. Through Him. By prayer and keeping His word, we are equipped not to be immune to temptation, but to have the will power and strength to recognize it and stand tall against it. What’s so amazing about that is, even when we do stumble and fall, and give in; He is always there to restore and renew us with His forgiveness and never failing, unconditional love. That is what this song, Temptation, exemplifies. The constant battle between earthly and spiritual things. That sometimes, not so subtle whisper of Satan, beckoning you to give in. The smallest seed of temptation, can grow like a weed, rooting and wrapping itself around the life God has promised for you. The bargaining of immediate pleasure versus waiting on God: and He encourages us to endure and persevere, that we may receive the ultimate reward in the end.
