Man on a Mission is song by Rico Metelus that creatively portrays the message that Jesus was a Man on a mission, and He ultimately accomplished what He came to do. Rico is also saying that we often have a mindset that consists of us “working” for God’s grace and mercy. However, the reality is that Christ did all the work, we can’t “work” for grace and salvation. The three words said by Jesus on the cross, which is “It is finished”, lucidly illustrates the seal on the purchase of our sins, as well as the work that Jesus came to do.
