Christian hip-hop finds itself at the top of the Billboard Christian Hot AC Radio chart once again. Lecrae and NF are in the top 25 on the chart. Lecrae’s “Give In” Ft. Crystal Nicole is currently at #17 and NF’s “I’ll Keep On” Ft. Jeremiah Carlson is #24.
“I’ll Keep On” is the first song by NF that has charted in a Billboard radio category. Last year, Crae made history by his track, “Nuthin,” being the first Christian hip-hop song to hit #1 on the Billboard Christian Rock National Airplay chart.
It is really good to see Christian radio starting to embrace Christian hip-hop. Hopefully this is the start of many more songs making an impact at CCM radio from a chart standpoint.
Will NF be the next Christian hip-hop artist to generate a buzz in the mainstream?
