During SXSW 2015, Xist Music artist Swift  (fka R-Swift) caught up with Jam The Hype’s Chris Chicago and spoke on his upcoming album titled Higher Learning, artists he would like to collaborate with, his wife’s health, and more.

In 2013, Swift revealed that his wife Stacey was diagnosed with cancer. At SXSW, the Apply Pressure-emcee gave an update on his wife’s health and she is in full remission.

“My wife is in full remission,” Swift said. “No sign of the cancer. She is doing real well. She is healthy. We are just celebrating for that. Thanks to everybody who has prayed for us and given to us. People have come through unexpectedly. There were times where I woke up and there was cash in my mailbox and I didn’t know who it came from. I’m definitely praising God for that man.”

In 2013, Swift dropped Apply Pressure, which features Social Club, J.R., and Sho Baraka, among others.
