“Yung Heat” is a native of Nashville, TN. Growing up in a dysfunctional family lifestyle with an ample measure of violence, perversion, drug dealing, and gambling, made him no stranger to the streets. After the loss of his father, his life went on to spiral into a whirlwind of trouble. He began failing out of school and underwent an ordinary course of run-ins with the law. As an alternative of imbricating this vicious cycle he decided to break the generational curse, and began a new legacy for his generation and generations to come. Yung Heat consecrated his life to the Lord in March of 2006. That’s when “The Process” began! Yung Heat started to write and produce music from his own bed room. During the time following he has traveled from state to state ministering by means of the art of hip hop, extracting a powerful transforming message that has not only influenced the hearts of youth, but has penetrated the inner depths of adults as well. Yung Heat has jointly set fire to the stage with well know artist such as, the Group What?, John Cook, Da Truth, Joint Heirs, Lisa McClendon, Trinity 5:7, and more…. March of 2007 “Yung Heat” released his debut album “The Pick of the Litter”. It is an album that is earnestly imploring to the generation of today. The lyrical content is overflowing with the fiery anointing of God, and positive messages that influence and encourage the youth to comprehend and receive life to the proximity of greatness, rather than what is depicted in the media. Yung Heat presently completed his second album entitled “The Process,” which is set to release in March of 2009. “The Process thus far has truly been a time of God revealing life’s under girding points of understanding that are vital for our spiritual freedom, growth, and effectiveness.” It is the sequel to Heat’s first album, “and is ultimately my relationship with my God publicized.” “The Process will stir up a selfless appetite for Him, and much more within you.” https://www.myspace.com/heat822 |
