Marz Ferrer‘s song “Blur” (Ft. Humble Beast artist JGivens) has been selected for Mountain Dew’s Green Label Sound: Open Call, which is a search for the next big sound. Marz is 1 of 10 selected semi-finalist who were chosen by Jamal Henderson (Director of Brand Marketing at Mountain Dew), Marc Ecko (Founder and Chief Branding Officer, Complex), and RAC (Chart topping remix artist). The winner out of the 10 selected entries is determined by votes from fans and the judges.
If “Blur” receives enough votes, Ferrer will win a $50,000 grant to produce an album, trip to SXSW 2015 (to perform at the Green Label House), advice from remix sensation RAC, a professional music video, and promoted presence on SoundCloud.
The winner of the search will be announced on February 16.
Green Label is Mountain Dew’s in-house record label.
