On December 8, Bay Area-based Hip Hop legend, E-40, announced that he was working on positive music with Grammy Award-winning Christian emcee, Lecrae, for 2015.
E-40 is one of the first Bay Area-lyricist to sign to a major record label (Jive Records: 1994) and has sold millions of units. The Tell Me When To Go-rapper has collaborated with 2 Pac, Big Sean, Lil Jon, T-Pain, and Snoop Dogg, among others.
Lecrae has received criticism for working with mainstream artists in the past. Crae’s list of collaborations includes names like Big K.R.I.T., B.o.B., 9th Wonder, Boi-1da, Statik Selektah, Paul Wall, Don Cannon, and more.
Are you cool with Crae recording a track with E-40?
We will post an update when new information on the Lecrae and E-40 collaboration is revealed.
