“Monsters,” produced by Taylor King, deals with the idea of that one thing in our lives that keeps us held back from moving forward in GOD’S plan and trusting Him wholly. In this case, Don focuses on his tainted past, symbolized as the “Monster” that he felt that continued to chase him. In turn, he’d run in the opposite direction of the path The Father had chosen for him, trying to seek refuge of his own, rejecting the true refuge that lies in Him because of his own fear and human understanding.

“Ghost Stories,” produced by Miguel B., is a song about repeating the same cycle of sin over and over again after deliverance and restoration has already come. In this case the flesh is being described as a woman who although she has the looks that we desire, stimulating satisfaction of our deepest fantasies and desires, we know that she will never do us any good fully committed to her and that the fulfilling feeling of satisfaction is only a temporary illusion.
