October 7 (Dallas, TX) – Grammy-nominated and award-winning producer, Tha Kracken, has been a monster in the game for several years banging out chart-topping hits for some of Hip-Hop and R&B’s most popular artists. His latest project adds a new dimension to the classic Hip-Hop mixtape. Tha Kracken Vs. pits beats vs. bars in a battle for supremacy.

Tha Kracken Vs. is a gift to followers of Hip-Hop, who appreciate aggressive rhymes over big beats. The featured MCs on the project are Staten Island based duo, FreeStyle Fam, who recently were featured on The Wake Up Show with Sway and DJ King Tech.

When asked about his motivation behind the challenge, Tha Kracken stated, “I wanted to give an opportunity to any producer or artist passionate about launching their career. You’ve got to be hungry in this game and if the only thing you have to do to win $500 worth of equipment is download some good music for free. I think that’s a no brainer.”
