Caleb was born into a Christian Home, but didn’t dedicate his life to God till he was 17. He is19 years old, and is hoping he can bless people with his gift. He has gotten a lot of hate for this,because he does Christian rap. Some think of it as a waste, he just tells them it is no way a waste!When he got saved he wasn’t sure if rap was his calling, but he knew if he continued to rap, atleast he would be increasing his skill in his gift. Now he is sure that this is what he should bedoing.
Caleb first met Big R, by talking to him on the phone. He called him in a way to show hisappreciation for his 2009 album, “Rated R”. Big R has been influential in Caleb’s rap style,because Caleb never really hyped up the verse, like Big R does. So he started rapping more likethat (mimicking the way Big R flows over beats), and now he is getting a good response.
