On the day following the announcement that Lecrae has been nominated for a Dove Award for Artist of the Year comes Billboard’s release of their latest charts with Lecrae peaking on several.

To no surprise, Lecrae’s latest release from his upcoming album Anomaly, entitled “All I Need Is You,” has debuted at the #1 spot on the Christian Digital Songs, Hot Gospel Songs, and Gospel Digital Songs Billboard charts. It also debuted #2 on the Hot Christian Songs chart, behind the popular Australian worship group, Hillsong UNITED’s “Oceans (Where Feet My Fail).”

“All I Need Is You,” co-produced by the Grammy Award winning duo, Joseph Prielozny and Dirty Rice (collectively the Cobra Music Group), was released a week ago as part of the trio of songs for those who pre-ordered Anomaly on iTunes.

Lecrae’s other already-released Anomaly songs “Nuthin” and “Fear” also showed up in strong spots on the charts. “Nuthin” followed “All I Need Is You” in both the Gospel Digital Songs and Hot Gospel Songs charts at #2. It also achieved #4 in Christian Digital Songs.

“Fear” is currently sitting at #3 on Gospel Digital Songs, #5 in Christian Digital Songs, and #8 in Hot Gospel Songs.

With the current trend and rise in the charts as shown by the recent release, could Lecrae, Reach Records, and the entire team behind Anomaly be on the verge of another Grammy Award winning album? We shall see!

Collision Records rapper Swoope released his album Sinema last week and garnered the #1 Gospel Albums slot, #3 spot in Christian Albums, and #4 in the Rap Albums category. Capitol Records signing, NF, also achieved some spots on the chart with his EP release, NF. His project debuted at #4 for Gospel Albums, #15 for Rap Albums, and #12 on Christian Albums; a good showing for the new signee. Lastly, singer/rapper/rocker Manafest achieved a #14 spot in Christian Albums this past week with his release, The Moment.

UPDATE (8/21/2014):

Lecrae still holds the top three spots on Billboard’s Gospel Digital Songs chart (“All I Need Is You” at #1, “Nuthin” at #2, “Fear” at #3).

Lecrae’s “Nuthin” climbs from #10 to #9 on Billboard’s Gospel Streaming Songs chart.
