Being Christian is more than saying you’re a “Christian.” It is more than just going to church on Sunday. Being Christian is a lifestyle. A lifestyle can be defined as a style or specific way you choose to live your life. When you put it together and when you pray the prayer to accept the Lord as the Lord and Savior of your life, you are choosing a “lifestyle” rather than a label. I was saved about a year ago while I was deployed. I was in a dark and deep depression, and at that time, I didn’t understand the commodities and the “lifestyle” of being a Christian. I just looked in the mirror and called myself a Christian because I prayed and worshipped Jesus. Of course, that’s a part of being Christian, but I soon discovered how much more there is to it.  It’s the same trend I witness quite too often in us as Christians. Are we living how we are supposed to be according to the Word? Ask yourself the question…is it faith…or fiction?

It is through the Word we learn how to live honorably and serving the Lord is one of the key purposes. To be called missionaries for Him, to spread the word about his everlasting, unconditional love. To tell the world that no matter what your past is, no matter what sin you committed, you are forgiven. To engage culture and society today and be UNASHAMED of him while presenting the Gospel. The true Christian life is more than the Church. It’s more than praying. When you put together this whole package concept, you are living Christianity to its fullest. No demon from the devil and no temptation will ever be able to penetrate through your thick skin when you’re living for our Creator. With all this negativity in our society today, I challenge each one of us to rise together and stand up for what we know and love. Introduce the Gospel to someone new today and spread his everlasting love. Let’s give him NO less than what he gave us.

One question remains, that only YOU (personally) know the answer to:

Is it Faith or

Fiction?
