Jamar Eugene Frink was born on July 11, 1979 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Birthed into a relatively large extended family, he grew up with having been instilled strong family values and the importance of spirituality. Growing up in the Church of God in Christ under his grandfather, the late great Hampton Colclough, as well as his father, Willie E. Frink, Sr. later becoming a Pastor; it was hard not to see God and the importance of who Jesus Christ was.
Although surrounded by great men and women of God, Jamar didn’t feel as if that too was his calling or even altogether called to serve God. Once bearing witness to various events in the church and not fully understanding what a relationship with God was and had to offer, the Gospel just didn’t appeal to him. Jamar would come to a crossroad in life where he would choose to indulge in drug use and dabble in the selling of those same drugs; being influenced by music, television, friends, etc. (although they are not to blame). His self-destructive lifestyle would continue into his early to mid twenties.
After a long stint of job hopping and wicked behavior, Jamar would soon come to the conclusion that his life was in shambles and the only one who could fix it was God. Long story short, today He is now serving as a deacon at New Life Christian Ministries, International where the Pastor is Willie E. Frink, Sr. and the Co-Pastor is Roslyn Frink. His is in charge of the “Ambassadors For Christ”, a ministry for young adults ages 18-35, teaches the teenage boys of the ministries Youth Empowerment Zone, in addition to being over the audio/visual ministry.
Today, he is blessed to be married to Jamekia Frink and they have a son name Jayden Eugene who was born on January 27, 2010. God has truly come into his life and has turned it around for him. Whenever you see Jamar and speak with him for a few minutes, chances are you will always here, “If He did it for me; I know He can do it for you!”
