Bio/Notes: Daivd ”One9” Stepney was born October 1, 1983 in Pomona CA. He onced lived in an enviornment that was pretty tough to say the least, where his dad was associated with a blood gang. David’s dad was murdered when he was the age of 5, and after that David and his mother moved to Philadelphia pa. They stayed there for a few years, then moved back to California. He spent the rest of his days there up. He was all about playing sport’s and going to school, till he graduated from high school, then he started working to support himself. He thought life was about the American dream, and never was Christ on his mind until about the age of 25. He was playing poker for a living, smoking weed heavy daily, fornicating with woman, full of pride and conceit, and many other sinful things. Till one day when his godfather put the word in his hand and told him to read a bit of Proverbs. His godfather was not a believer at the time, but he took his advice and read about six chapter’s of Proverbs and it was no looking back to the world from that day. He went on to the book of Revelations after he finished reading the book of Proverbs, and Revelations had him sensitive to the character of God. He recieved the Lord in his life that same night. When Jesus came into the picture his life changed for the better. Now he no longer makes music for the enemy, but he is ministering through music for the Almighty God of Heaven. He is sold out, and set apart for the thing’s of the Lord, and he doesn’t regret the choice he made to serve the Lord. He goes to Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, and he’s serving in the usher ministry, and in the men’s ministry. God is using him for His glory now and he is now living for the Lord and seeking His will daily. |
