It’s here! Download the brand new mixtape by DJ Wade-O and JahRock’n Productions. It’s entitled More than Music Pt. 1. The thematic mixtape takes some of the biggest Christian Rap songs of the past year and mashes them up with classic Gospel, Hip Hop, Funk, Rock, and Jazz Records.
DJ Wade-O and JahRock’n took the creativity one step further, as each mash-up combines songs that either have similar themes in content or have the same words in their title. Lecrae’s “Fakin’” is mashed up with Jr. Mafia’s “Get Money.” KB’s “Angels” is mashed up with Gospel-Great Richard Smallwood’s song of the same name. W.L.A.K.’s “YHWH (is the King)” is mashed up with Linkin Park’s “Wretches and Kings.”
Each song is crafted as a full-fledged remix. In addition to the samples; drums, bass lines, and even vocals were added to create a totally unique listening experience for these familiar anthems. DJ Wade-O mans the ones and twos and blends the songs together to provide a seamless listening experience.
