Bio/Notes: Fro, born Adrian Johnson, was raised by his grandmother while his mother was overseas in the Army. Being raised in the Claiborne Homes projects in South Memphis made staying out of trouble difficult for Fro but he managed to stay focused. With very little in the bank to start, he bought a 4-track drum machine and a mic and starting working for the Lord. FROs last album, Highway to Heaven sold over 40,000 copies, the lead single “His Struggle” was nominated for song of the year and FRO was also nominated for Christian rap artist of the year in 2009 |
