LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) — Shootings, stabbings, murder are the calling cards of gang violence and all are on the rise in Las Vegas as police continue to fight back.
Police have been joined in their battle by a former gang member and a pastor.
News 3’s Fatima Rahmatullah is taking a close look at gangs this week in a series of reports at the changing world of gangs in our community.
This is the story of a former gangbanger named Sevin, who for years worked on the streets selling drugs, pimping women, and committing drive-by shootings. It’s the story of an angry young man who had no remorse until death faced him in the eye.
Sevin, 32, grew up in a Sacramento neighborhood. He is now a rapper with a message – Glorify God, not gangs.

You video opens with a scene of you burning a Bible in a trash can adorned with Hebrew. You throw the Baphomet horns while you perform this godless garbage, pretending that it’s the gospel. You look like gang thugs when scripture tells you to come out of the world and be ye separate. Be holy.
2 Timothy 4:1-5

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Pointing to the Roman Catholic pagan symbol (You were probably told PAX means peace.) on your neck while throwing demonic hand symbols doesn’t preach Jesus.
And what are you doing besides judging with a keyboard? Let me guess, your a teacher or a preacher and you’ll never leave the walls of your own congregation. This man has found a way to witness to a culture you wouldn’t dare to step in.
Witness what? He’s not presenting them with the gospel.
He’s playing an angle to sell records.
Have you seen him preaching in parks or on the corners? Do you? Have you, some how, received all of the attributes of God? Do you know this mans heart? I’m sure he’s not perfect, because he’s a sinner, just like you and me. Let God do the judging and stop targeting Christians even if they may not be YOUR idea of a perfect Christian.
I will always speak against false teaching, bad doctrine and bad fruit. Read your Bible beyond John 3:16 and Matthew 7:1
You’ll see we are *commanded* to correct and rebuke our brethren when they are in error. This man is in error.

This guy whatever you say have made me got closer to God and listening to hes message and since i been witnessing for christ..the name jesus and christ is the same you just do know who you just playing God because you do know christ you probably a church member inside doors and when you do something for God you probably want to be praise REPENT because when you judge you are to be judge i pray for you
I get a good chuckle every time some yahoo on the Internet tries to label me as a Pharisee. It tells me they have no clue what a Pharisee is and that’s probably because they don’t read their Bibles. A Pharisee went around acting all holy and beating his breast in the public square, and putting on a “look at me” show (which could very well describe any rap or rock star you can think of), making a show of giving to charity, etc.
I’m not doing any of that. I’m calling to The Word of God in 2 Timothy 4:1-5 and obeying it. Rebuking, refuting and exhorting with all longsuffering (means patience) and doctrine, which means we use God’s Word, not our own opinions, to decide matters.
You also do not understand how many times we are COMMANDED in scripture to judge righteously… ESPECIALLY when it comes to those claiming to be our brethren.
This man Sevin truly is a spirit filled man. You may not agree with the way he delivers his message but the message itself is legit. .. he came to my church and truly has a heart for God and ppl… fruit is everything
You won’t say the name of Jesus. You say either Christ, or the Hebrew “El Shaddai” and that is NOT the name of Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, the Messiah.

Later on in the video we get to see you go through the process of burning the Bible again, along with everything else. The name Yeshua is scrawled in gang graffiti on the trash can. This time we get to see that the Bible is the only thing that survives the fire, and opened to John 20:31 … okay so you won’t say it but you’ll let the video viewer read it amid the confusing message about the new world order and all that other stuff.
Then at the end in the annotations, you post a declaration of faith, which taken by itself is just fine.
I don’t get it. If you’re a right-on Christian and trying to be a witness through your hip hop (which God is probably offended by) why wouldn’t you make it clear in your MUSIC the message you’re trying to convey?
