Bio/Notes: Born William Brown, however known to his fans as “M.A.J.O.R.S.”, was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL in a community where drugs dominated the area but his mother maintained a spiritual household instructing him not to go down the wrong path. As a teen, he was drawn to rappers such as 2PAC, Nas, KRS-1, Jay-Z, Rakim, Outkast, Tribe Called Quest and many other artists whom he says played a role in structuring his lyrical content and style of delivery. After attending Alabama State University he later relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2001 and that was the beginning of his mission and calling to hip-hop. Viewed instantly as one of the hottest unsigned rappers and producers, M.A.J.O.R.S. has an outspoken, self-empowered swagger that can reach those in the streets as well as people who seek spiritual guidance. Whether calling himself “MAJOR LEAGUE” or “M Dot” everybody know that he’s a true hip hop artist. M.A.J.O.R.S. state that “in hip-hop there are numerous artists thriving to get signed to feed off the people but I’m in hip-hop to feed the people so they can overcome adversity”. He’s positioning himself towards the top epicenter of East Coast, Dirty South, and West Coast rap. No one is more worthy of this calling than M.A.J.O.R.S.
