Lecrae’s Church Clothes Vol.1 continues to make noise more than a year after its release. CC1 just hit DatPiff double platinum status.

Church Clothes Vol.1 currently sits at a little over 500,000 downloads on DatPiff.com, which makes it double platinum on the site.

Church Clothes Vol.1 is the first faith-based Hip Hop project to get labeled double platinum on DatPiff, the top rated Hip Hop mixtape website. The Don Cannon-hosted mixtape includes production by 9th Wonder, Boi-1da, Symbolic One (S1), and Heat Academy, among others.

On October 18, the world found out via BET’s “106 & Park” that the second installment to Crae’s Church Clothes series will drop on November 7. Church Clothes Vol.2 will feature B.o.B., Paul Wall, Novel, Kevin Ross, Crystal Nicole, Crae’s label mates Derek Minor and Tedashii, as well as production from Grammy award-winning producers David Banner, Street Symphony, Dirty Rice, Tyshane & Tha Inna Circle. DJ Don Cannon is hosting CC2.

Church Clothes Vol.1 reached 250,000 downloads (platinum status on DatPiff) in less than a month after it’s release (May 10, 2012) and is considered one of the “Top Mixtapes Of 2012” by DatPiff.com.
