Christian Hip Hop artists continue to get love from people of influence and they continue to do big things. Recently, Vernon Davis, TE for the San Francisco 49ers, gave Grammy-nominated CHH legend T-Bone a shout-out. He is looking forward to seeing the California-based emcee/actor play his role of Martin De LaFuente in the upcoming movie I’m In Love With A Church Girl. Davis is also in the movie acting the role of Bootz.

“Can’t wait to see T-Bone in action,” said Davis on an Instagram post promoting the upcoming film.

T-Bone will be acting alongside industry professionals like Ja Rule, Adrienne Bailon, Stephen Baldwin, Vincent Pastore, tobyMac, and Michael Madsen in I’m In Love With A Church Girl, which comes out on October 18.

The west coast veteran definitely has movie experience. Many recognize him for his role in the motion picture The Fighting Temptations, a film that also included Beyoncé and Cuba Gooding Jr.

Boney Soprano is one of the few Christian Hip Hop artists who have survived through the various changes of Hip Hop culture. Since his debut album Redeemed Hoodlum (1991), the lyricist has sold over 800,000 units, been featured on major TV networks (MTV, Telemundo, TBN and more), and he has collaborated with musical legends like KRS-ONE, tobyMac, and Yolanda Adams, among others. He is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming project Return Of The Bionic Man. When new details on that are revealed, we will let you know about them.

Vernon Davis is an NFL all-star who plays tight end for the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers. He set the tight end record of 180 yards in a single game. The University of Maryland alumnus is known as a philanthropist for his consistent work in the community and as a leader for his example on and off the field. It’s awesome to see him support an artist that is promoting a positive message.
