Just in time for summer, 6 Way St. is back on the scene with their debut EP, entitled TGFKAL (The Group Formerly Known As Level 3:16), featuring the single “Do My Do.” You can expect a classic, soulful blend of Hip-Hop and R&B featuring Mali Music and production by Swoope, Jimmy Natural, Amase, and DJ KB.

What was intended to be a two-and-a-half week tour became a life-altering road trip. Nearly five years and thousands of miles later, the group formerly known as Level 3:16 is back, hitting the pavement with a new name and new music that boasts an eclectic, soulful blend of hip-hop and R&B. 6 Way St. is more than the merge of two emcees, three vocalists, and one female deejay. It’s a reminder that love doesn’t stop halfway but takes the initiative to meet people where they are. It’s a road less traveled, a road where 6 people realized there’s really only One Way after all. In July of 2013, we acquired DaSouth.com, one of the leading Christian hip-hop sites, and in October of the same year, merged DaSouth.com and JamTheHype.com together with a new look, logo, and website. We exist to encourage our audience and give them an alternative to mainstream hip-hop and R&B. We have seen many come to Christ through the music played on Jam The Hype’s radio show (Jam The Hype LIVE with Chris Chicago), online radio station, and the content on the site and want to continue using the vessel of music, radio, TV, and web to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also want to provide radio stations with a bangin' radio show that rivals anything heard in the mainstream.
