Ron Stop emerges from the kindling Christian hip-hop movement brewing in the landscape of North Carolina. With God-inspired passion and a signature pitch variation, he delivers a lyrical testimony of the grace and salvation of his Lord and savior Jesus. An ordained evangelist who has served for 13 years, he’s humbled to add music as an extension to the ministry. With joy, Ron Stop is excited to present the first single from the upcoming album, Grow In Pains, “Holla.”

In July of 2013, we acquired DaSouth.com, one of the leading Christian hip-hop sites, and in October of the same year, merged DaSouth.com and JamTheHype.com together with a new look, logo, and website. We exist to encourage our audience and give them an alternative to mainstream hip-hop and R&B. We have seen many come to Christ through the music played on Jam The Hype’s radio show (Jam The Hype LIVE with Chris Chicago), online radio station, and the content on the site and want to continue using the vessel of music, radio, TV, and web to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also want to provide radio stations with a bangin' radio show that rivals anything heard in the mainstream.
