Christian Hip-Hop Artist Share New Year’s Resolutions

Here at Jam The Hype we reached out to a variety of artists to ask them what their New Year’s Resolutions are for 2017. New Year’s Resolutions are a traditional but notoriously difficult way to resolve to do better or more of something in the New Year.

Just trying to focus on providing for my family and leading them well. Thats my main goal.

I have a few.

  • Wake up at 3:45 a.m. or 4:00 a.m. every day and spend 20 minutes in the Word before my day starts (life changing if you can do it)
  • Be more patient with myself, my wife, and my family.
  • Drop a lot of new music.
  • Better steward my time, commitments and ministry.

Guvna B

For me I’d like to be a good husband.

“2017 is a new year for me. All about new beginnings! I am really trying to work on what EVERYONE says they are going to do at the first of the year . . getting in better shape! I got caught up in the busyness of 2016  . . and I really need to work on that this year. I have to get back on the stage! Secondly, I HAVE to put out more music this year . . in 2016 I put out an ep with Deraj, got married, got a new job, moved into a new home . . . it was a busy year! I definitely want to do more in the way of music this year. You should be hearing something new at the first of the year!”

Dru Bex

My New Years resolution is to be consistent in releasing music.

J. Han

My new year’s resolution is to hit my fitness goals and make music you can groove to!
